Pablo Jókay is a German-Hungarian composer based in Zurich, Switzerland. He has written music for the feature film Der verlorene Mann, which premiered in the main competition of the International Film Festival Rotterdam, the feature documentary Flying Scents, which premiered at the Locarno Film Festival, the Student-Oscar-winning short film Eigenheim, as well as animated shorts, video games and radio plays.

He assisted the award-winning composers Diego Baldenweg, Nora Baldenweg and Lionel Baldenweg on the Australian TV series Born to Spy and the Irish thriller In the Land of Saints and Sinners starring Liam Neeson. Since 2025, he has been assisting the award-winning composer Marcel Vaid on multiple projects and serves as a lecturer at the Zurich University of the Arts.

Pablo's main instruments are drums, piano and vocals, but if a soundtrack needs to sound scary he also likes to “play” the violin. Drawing on influences from both classical and pop music, he enjoys blending classical and electronic elements to create distinctive musical worlds. He also likes to incorporate elements of sound design into his music through his custom-programmed effects and instruments.
